RAWALPINDI: PTI founder Imran Khan has again refused to undergo a polygraph test in connection with the May 9 cases.

The former prime minister has refused the test three times before.

According to details, a 12-member team of Lahore Police visited Adiala Jail on Monday, where its head Javed Asif asked to conduct a polygraph test of the PTI founder. However, Imran refused to consider the request. The police team left Adiala Jail after his refusal.

The investigation team includes Inspector Muhammad Aslam, Inspector Muhammad Alam and Inspector Muhammad Arham. Abid Ayub of the Punjab Forensic Unit was also part of the investigation team.

Sources quoted Imran as saying that “an attempt is being made to implicate me on the basis of the test,” adding that “this is a baseless test and I will not undergo it.” The investigation team was to conduct polygraphic, photography and voice matching tests in the May 9 cases of PTI founder Imran Khan.
