Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian to visit Pakistan on Tuesday

ISLAMABAD: The Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian will visit Pakistan on Tuesday, according to the Iranian state news agency.

According to Habibollah Abbasi, director of the public relations department of the Iranian president’s office, the purpose of the visit is to appreciate Pakistan’s efforts for US-Iran mediation and to thank Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif.

It should be noted that this visit is taking place at a time when talks between Iran and the US began in Switzerland yesterday, mediated by Pakistan and Qatar.

All Bus Terminals at Faizabad Closed

The twin cities administration has closed all bus terminals at Faizabad due to the arrival of the President of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian.

According to the details, all bus terminals at Faizabad have been closed till tomorrow at 9 pm, due to Iran president’s arrival. The law enforcement agencies have formed a high-level security plan amid Masoud Pezeshkian’s arrival.

Commuters and residents are requested to cooperate with the police personnel.
