Two-month summer vacation at Islamabad High Court announced

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court (IHC) Friday announced two-month-long summer vacations from July to September 10.

According to the notification issued by the Registrar’s Office of the IHC, the high court will observe summer vacations from July 10 to September 10 and shall re-open on Wednesday, September 11.

Only urgent cases, pre-arrest and post-arrest bails, and detention matters would be heard during the holidays and only duty judges would hear the proceedings., the notifications read.

Additionally, a separate notification has been issued for a one-month vacation from August 1 to August 31 for the district courts of the federal capital.

Chief Justice IHC approved the summer vacation notifications for both the Islamabad High Court and the district courts.
