KARACHI: Commissioner Karachi has imposed ban on Rickshaws at city’s 11 roads, here on Tuesday.
As per the issued notification, one plus two and one plus four motor cab rickshaws have been banned for two months.
Auto rickshaws has been banned from Shahrah Faisal to Avari Tower Hotel, II Chandrigarh Road to Shaheen Complex, Shahrah Quaid-e-Azam to Numaish, Sher Shah Suri to Matriculation Board road, Shaheed-e-Millat Road to Jail Chowrangi, from Abdullah Haroon Road to Do Talwar chowk, from Do Talwar to Shahrah-e-Farooqi, Stadium Road, Millennium Mall, Sir Shah Suleman Road, Sir Habib Ibrahim Road, Rashid Minhas Road to Dargh Road and from Maripur Road to Gulbai road.
The ban will be effective from today and the ban will remain in place until June 14, 2025.
