LAHORE: Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Lahore Amara Athar has instructed concerned officials to impose heavy fines on motorcyclists without helmets.
She underscored that a Rs2,000 challan will be imposed on bike riders for not wearing helmets in the provincial capital.

CTO Lahore highlighted that no one will be tolerated to ride motorcycles in Lahore without a safety helmet. From today motorcyclists will not be allowed to use Mall Road and other major roads, she added.
Lahore’s top traffic cop said a crackdown will be launched on various roads, including Canal Road, and Jail Road, against those who found riding bikes without helmets.
