New dress code introduced for govt colleges staff in Lahore

LAHORE: A new dress code has been introduced for the staff of government colleges, under which they are prohibited from wearing tight jeans, T-shirts and half-sleeved shirts. Moreover, open-toed shoes are also not allowed.

The Director Colleges Lahore has issued this dress code for clerical staff and Grade IV employees. Under the new guidelines, all Grade IV employees will have to wear black shalwar kameez with a belt.

Inspections will be conducted to ensure compliance with the dress code, which will be applicable from February 1.

The directive further said that strict monitoring will be done to ensure implementation of the new policy.
