NOSHKI: The local administration of Sorab halts the public from covering faces and pillion riding for temporary time following the prevailing security situation in the area, according to media reports.
The administration has also issued a notification is this regard, prohibiting wearing masks in public with immediate effect.
The ban aims to enhance identification efforts during ongoing counter-terror operations in the region.
Additionally, as a precaution to reduce any threats and maintain peace and order, motorcycle pillion riding has been prohibited in both cities until June 10.
Movement restrictions are expected to remain in place during the anti-militancy drive in Sorab, and the public has been urged to avoid areas where security personnel are actively conducting operations.
According to authorities, these steps are short-term yet essential for the operations’ effectiveness and the public’s protection.
Earlier, In a heinous attack by Fitna-al-Hindustan in Surab on Friday, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Revenue Hidayat Buledi lost his life and embraced martyrdom, according to media reports.
In the attack, the militants attacked the home of ADC, where his family was residing, including women and children.
