Metro Bus crashes in Lahore, service partially suspended

LAHORE: A metro bus met with an accident near Azadi Chowk in Lahore on Monday after it hit a fence along the designated track.

According to the Punjab Mass Transit Authority, the passengers on board have been safely evacuated, and no injuries were reported.

Metro bus officials stated that the Azadi Chowk section of the metro bus service has been temporarily closed after the accident. The metro service from MAO College to Shahdara has been suspended.

Emergency teams reached the site shortly after the incident to secure the area and assess damage to the bus and track infrastructure.
