ISLAMABAD: Senior journalist Mosharraf Ali Zaidi has been appointed as the Prime Minister’s spokesperson for foreign media.
“Prime Minister is pleased to appoint Mr Mosharraf Ali Zaidi as Prime Minister’s Spokesperson for Foreign Media, with immediate effect and till further orders”, reads an office order issued by Dr Syed Tauqir Shah, Advisor to the Prime Minister, on Monday.
The Ministry of Information & Broadcasting and the Cabinet Division are hereby requested to take further action accordingly, the office order further reads.
A LUMS graduate who did an MPA from Baruch College of the City University of New York, has served as a Policy Advisor to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from 2011 to 2013.
