Pak Army begins rescue operation of students, staff in Wana Cadet College

SOUTH WAZIRISTAN: According to the recent updates, the Pakistan Army has begun to rescue students, teachers, and other staff members stuck within the building of Wana Cadet College, South Waziristan.

According to the sources, so far, 350 people have been rescued safely, while all cadets are safe. The operation of the security forces is continuing with great caution and strategy.

IG Frontier Corps Khyber Pakhtunkhwa South is self-monitoring the operation at Cadet College Wana, security sources further added.

However, at least 300 people are still stuck within the building.

Due to the presence of Afghan Khawarij in the college, keeping in mind the safety of the lives of the cadets, the security forces are continuing the operation against the terrorists with great caution.
