Pak Army organizes five-day special training for Waziristan police

NORTH WAZIRISTAN: The Pakistan Army for Police organized a special five-day training session in Miranshah, North Waziristan.

The goal of the training was to give the police officers the technical know-how and essential competencies they would need to handle security-related issues, according to Radio Pakistan report.

The cops received training on how to handle and use a variety of weapons, including hand grenades. In addition, they received instruction in both physical warfare and nighttime firing techniques.

The training also covered training session to handle VIP protection, fire from moving vehicles, and bomb disposal capabilities.

Earlier, Security forces killed four militants in two separate operations in North Waziristan district.

According to the ISPR, security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in Spinwam area of ​​North Waziristan, effectively targeting a hideout of militants. After a fierce exchange of fire, two militants were killed.

In another incident, security forces monitored the movement of a group of militants near the Pakistan-Afghanistan border in the Spinwam area, where terrorists were trying to enter Pakistan.

Security forces swung into action to thwart their infiltration attempt. As a result of the firing, two militants were killed, and two were injured.
