LOS ANGELES: Pakistani bodybuilder Rameez Ibrahim has achieved a monumental milestone in his career, clinching the gold medal in the Men’s Physique Category at the prestigious 2024 Mr. Universe competition.

Organized by the World Fitness Federation in Las Vegas, USA, this esteemed event drew participants from over 45 countries, including Australia, South Africa, England, the USA, and Canada.

Rameez’s triumph not only earned him the coveted gold medal but also secured a pro card in the Physique category, marking a significant turning point in his bodybuilding journey. This achievement is a testament to his unwavering dedication and perseverance.

Following his victory, Rameez took to Instagram to address critics who had doubted his ability to achieve such a high honor on the world stage.

His success is particularly sweet, given the challenges he faced in securing his entry into the competition. In an earlier interview, Rameez shared his struggles, stating, “I didn’t have any backing to get my name registered in this competition.”

Despite these obstacles, he remained resolute, affirming, “Alhamdulillah, I finally made it, and now I’m preparing myself to win another title for my country.” Rameez added.

Rameez has been making waves in the bodybuilding world since 2022 when he became the first Pakistani to win three world titles in a competition held in Thailand.

However, despite his impressive achievements, he has faced a lack of recognition in his home country. Undeterred, Rameez remains committed to representing Pakistan with pride, stating, “It’s disappointing not to get recognition, but I will continue to represent Pakistan with pride.”

This latest victory marks a significant step toward further accomplishments on the international stage for Rameez.
