Pakistani cancer researcher Anthony Shaukat killed in Portugal

A young Pakistani student, Anthony Shaukat, has been tragically murdered in Portugal.

The young victim was a resident of Lahore. Anthony had been brought to Portugal for a study project by the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Hospital, according to his family.

The deceased had done his masters from Sweden and PhD from Germany.

He was targeted and brutally killed by robbers who took his life and robbed him of his mobile phone, cash, and laptop.

The family asked the authorities to assist them in locating Anthony’s remains as quickly as possible and apprehending the perpetrators.

Fahimuddin, a Pakistani-German, was slain in Ulm in March after his family was attacked with a knife. He had moved to Germany permanently after leaving the Azizabad neighborhood of Karachi.

The victim’s close friend Ahmed Saeed had said the assailant first attacked Fahimuddin’s wife and daughters, then fatally attacked Fahim. Saeed said the assailant was alive and undergoing treatment at a hospital.

Fahimuddin’s neighbors and friends are also saddened by his death. Fahim spent many memorable moments with us. The condition of Fahimuddin’s wife and daughters is critical, while two of their daughters managed to save themselves by hiding.
