ISLAMABAD: The Petroleum Dealers Association has withdrawn its call for a 15-day strike at petrol pumps, after which petrol pumps have reopened.
The President of the Petroleum Dealers Association has claimed that the government is ready to review the system of daily changes in the prices of petroleum products.
According to the petroleum dealers, the procedure for daily changes in the prices of petroleum products is currently being stopped, while the government will also issue a summary on the profit margin in 15 days.
President of the Petroleum Dealers Association Humayun Khan said that they are grateful to the government for understanding our difficulties.
He said that they withdraw the call for a 15-day shutdown after the government agrees to our legitimate demands.
On the other hand, OGRA has increased the prices of petrol and diesel for the fourth consecutive day.
It should be noted that the Petroleum Dealers Association, rejecting the government’s daily changes in the prices of petroleum products, had called for a nationwide strike, after which petrol pumps were closed from yesterday.
