PM Shehbaz set to begin official visit to China

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will leave for China in the last week of August.

According to the Prime Minister’s House, he will attend the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit from August 31 to September 1.

On the sidelines of the summit, the prime minister is expected to meet several world leaders, including Chinese President Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The meetings will focus on enhancing bilateral relations and mutual cooperation.
