PM Shehbaz Sharif meets Saudi Crown Prince, discusses bilateral ties

RIYADH: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir had Special meeting with Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman on Friday.

Prime Minister of Pakistan Shahbaz Sharif and Chief of Army Staff, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Nishan-e-Imtiaz (Military) are on a visit to Saudi Arabia.

Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif was accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar, Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi and Information Minister Attaullah Tarar in the meeting held in Mecca.

Important issues were discussed in the meeting between the Prime Minister and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir with Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman Abdulaziz.

The meeting reaffirmed the deep, strategic and brotherly relations between the two countries

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif also extended Eid greetings to King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman.

Earlier, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif performed Umrah alongside members of the Pakistani delegation.

Special prayers were offered during the journey for the oppressed people of Gaza, the unity of the Muslim Ummah, and for the development and prosperity of Pakistan.

The prime minister is leading a high-level delegation to the Kingdom to discuss bilateral in the meeting with Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman.
