PTI delegation meets UK Ambassador Jane Marriott

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) delegation called on the Ambassador of the United Kingdom (UK) to Pakistan Jane Marriott today.

The British High Commissioner met with senior PTI leaders including the newly appointed Opposition leader in the National Assembly Omar Ayub Khan, Raoof Hasan, and Barrister Hamid Khan.

Taking on X (Twitter), the British envoy expressed pleasure in meeting PTI leaders and congratulated Omar Ayub Khan on his appointment as Leader of the Opposition.

Furthermore, she added that all MNAs must work together on the critical issues Pakistan is facing, starting with economic reform to secure Pakistan’s prosperity.

Secretary Information PTI Raoof Hasan said that the session with High Commissioner Jane Marriott and her team members was an absolute pleasure. Both sides discussed issues of mutual interest and pledged to continue the interaction, he wrote on X.
