LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has decided to hold a big rally at Minar-e-Pakistan on February 8, 2025. The party has submitted a formal application to the Lahore administration for permission to hold the rally at Greater Iqbal Park Ground.
As per the media reports, PTI aims to demonstrate its political strength through this event. Chief organizer Aliya Hamza, who was nominated to oversee the rally, formally submitted the permission application to the Deputy Commissioner Lahore.
The application includes a request for a No Object Certificate (NOC) to hold the gathering at the park ground. The organizing committee of the rally consists of Chief Organizer Aliya Hamza, Opposition Leader Malik Ahmed Khan Bhochar and Ali Ijaz Butt.
PTI sources have clarified that the party will resort to nationwide protests if the authorities do not grant permission.
