KARACHI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and ‘Fixit’ founder Alamgir Khan was detained by police from his residence, here on Wednesday.
The former MNA was arrested during a raid at his house in Block 7 of Karachi’s Gulshan-e-Iqbal area.
A police party with over a dozen police personnel reached the residence of the ‘Fixit’ founder while women police constables also accompanied them.
Sources said that Alamgir Khan was arrested by PTI founder Imran Khan on November 26 for joining the PTI’s ‘do or die’ protest call in D-Chowk, Islamabad, which led to chaos after a crackdown on PTI protesters.
PTI founder Imran Khan and key party leaders are also facing arrests over the D Chowk protest.
