LAHORE: In a major policy change, the Punjab government has formally lifted the ban on all types of leave for government employees, allowing them to apply for and avail leave as per existing rules and regulations, officials confirmed on Tuesday.
The ban was earlier imposed due to war-like conditions, which had put government departments on high alert and frozen all non-essential absences.
With the situation now stable, the provincial administration has restored normal HR protocols, allowing employees to resume leave under standard procedures.
