Punjab University postpones examinations in Islamabad & Rawalpindi

LAHORE: The Punjab University has postponed the written examinations to be held in Islamabad and Rawalpindi from October 14 to 16 due to the upcoming Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit, here on Saturday.

As per the details, the examination department of Punjab University has announced that the examinations have been postponed due to the holidays announced by the federal government in Islamabad and Rawalpindi regarding the 23rd SCO meeting.

The said examinations will be held on October 17, 18 and 21 respectively while the time and venue will be notified in advance.

It is worth mentioning here that Punjab University exams will be held in other cities besides Islamabad and Rawalpindi as per the earlier announced schedule.

Pakistan is scheduled to host the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit in the capital Islamabad on October 15 to 16.

Leaders of various countries and around 200 delegations are expected to participate in the SCO Summit.
