Ramadan Nigahban Package successfully continued: Uzma Bukhari

LAHORE: Punjab Minister for Information and Culture Uzma Bukhari said that the distribution of the Punjab government’s Ramadan Nigahban Package is successfully continuing.

She said that the government has set a new standard in public service by ensuring transparency, efficiency and dignity, financial assistance is being provided to the deserving people at their doorsteps without any queues or hassle.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, she said that the total number of beneficiaries of the Nigahban Ramadan Dastarkhwan has reached 15 lakh 78 thousand 578, which reflects the strong confidence of the public in this initiative.

Uzma Bukhari added that a total of 26 lakh 8 thousand 192 Nigahban cards have been received across Punjab, out of which 23 lakh 2 thousand 540 cards have been delivered to the citizens at their doorsteps.

He further said that financial assistance of Rs. 10,000 per person has been provided to 13,892 citizens through the public convenience platform Maryam Ko Zain App, which shows the government’s prompt and effective response system.

He further said that Maryam Nawaz is determined to make the entire province a beautiful and exemplary region.
