ISLAMABAD: The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) on Thursday issued an advisory warning of unpredictable weather conditions in various parts of the country from today to May 5.
According to the advisory, several areas including Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, northeast Punjab and northeast Balochistan may experience rain with strong winds during this period.
The NDMA further said that rain and strong winds are also likely in some districts of Sindh, advising residents to take precautionary measures.
“All concerned departments and local administrations have been directed to remain alert and ensure preparedness to deal with any emergency arising out of changing weather conditions,” the authority said.
