Smog alert: Punjab govt orders market closure by 8 pm

LAHORE: The Punjab government has launched a strategic plan to combat severe smog, and improve air quality causing health problems and disrupting daily life in the provincial capital.
A notification issued by the Punjab government has ordered markets in Lahore, Faisalabad, Multan, and Gujranwala to be closed at 8 PM. The order will be effective until November 17 in all four districts.
