Lahore: Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) in Lahore has revealed a plan for ensuring gas availability to consumers during the upcoming Ramzan, as natural gas reserves continue to decline. With gas consumption expected to rise during the Holy Month, especially for Sehri and Iftar meals, there’s an increased strain on the gas supply infrastructure, leading to potential load shedding.
According to a statement shared by SNGPL, efforts will be made to maintain uninterrupted gas supply during Sehri and Iftar times. Gas will be provided from 2:30 AM to 8:00 AM for Sehri, and from 3 PM to 10 PM for Iftar.
The company has established monitoring teams to address any gas pressure issues, and a control room has been set up to handle gas shortage and pressure problems.
