RAWALPINDI: Director General (DG) Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry has stated that the speculation about Field Marshal Asim Munir becoming the President of Pakistan is unfounded.
In an interview with the British magazine The Economist, when asked about Pakistan’s response to the Indian military operation, he said that this time we will start from the east of India, starting with an attack deep inside India.
The army spokesman said that they also reject the political analysis made about this after the Marka-e-Haq.
It should be noted that some time ago, rumors were spread on social media about removing President Asif Ali Zardari and making Field Marshal Asim Munir the president.
To which Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi had said that we know who is behind the campaign targeting the President, Prime Minister, and Army Chief, we also know why this is being done, and who will benefit from it.
