Three investigation committees formed to probe Anmol alias Pinky case

KARACHI: Three separate investigation committees have been formed to investigate the most wanted cocaine dealer, Anmol alias Pinky.

The Additional IG Karachi has formed two separate investigation committees to investigate the high-profile drug gang leader Anmol alias Pinky and has also issued a notification in this regard.

The Additional IG Karachi has formed an investigation committee to investigate the accused in drug, arms, and murder cases, which consists of 6 members.

This committee will investigate the cases of the Garden and Baghdadi police stations under the leadership of SP Investigation South II. This committee includes the SIU, CIA, and district officers.

The said investigation team has been directed to investigate by fulfilling all legal requirements and has been asked to submit a report within 15 days.

The second four-member team will supervise the investigation under the leadership of DIG South Zone. This investigation team will investigate serious cases registered in the Garden and Baghdadi police stations.

The investigation team includes DIG South Syed Asad Raza, SSPS IU Samiullah Soomro, SSP South Mahzoor Ali, and SSP City Syed Ali Hassan.

The said committee will be bound to monitor the cases daily. The investigation committee will ensure that all the evidence is presented in the court after completing its investigation.
