US stands with Pakistan in its fight against terrorism: State Department

WASHINGTON: The United States condemned a recent series of terrorist attacks in Balochistan of Pakistan and reassured its standing with Islamabad in its fight against terrorism.

The Bureau of South and Central Asian Affairs of the US State Department wrote on X, “The United States strongly condemns the multiple attacks in Pakistan’s Balochistan province which took many lives.”

“Any violence disrupting peace and stability is indefensible, it wrote, adding that the United States stands with Pakistan in its fight against terrorism and we send our deepest condolences to those who lost their loved ones.

The Washington Embassy in Islamabad strongly condemned the Balochistan attacks and the regretted deaths of security forces and civilians including the victims of the Musakhel killing.

“Our hearts go out to the families and loved ones of those killed in yesterday’s attacks. The United States will continue to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with Pakistan in its fight against terrorism,” the US embassy in Islamabad wrote on its official X account.
