Widow Sahulat Card Scheme 2026: How to apply step-by-step guide

LAHORE: The Widow Sahulat Card Scheme 2026 marks a historic initiative that Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz introduced to provide financial independence and dignity to widows throughout the province.
The program, with a total budget of PKR 4 billion, is set to begin in February 2026. The financial assistance amounts will depend on the number of children that recipients have, between PKR 100000 and PKR 150000.

Financial Assistance Details

  • Basic assistance (no children): PKR 100,000
  • One child: PKR 125,000
  • Two or more children: PKR 150,000

Payments will be made directly via ATM cards or bank transfers without any deductions.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Permanent resident of Punjab
  • Belongs to a low-income household
  • Widow status must be registered on NADRA’s Smart Card
  • Must not be a government employee

Required Documents

  • Children’s B-Forms
  • Husband’s Death Certificate (NADRA)
  • Active personal mobile number
  • Proof of residence (Utility bill / Domicile)

Application Process

  • Digital Method: Apply through the official web portal or mobile app
  • Physical Method: Visit BISP/Ehsaas Centers for biometric verification and card collection

This initiative is expected to empower thousands of widows in Punjab, ensuring financial security and respect in society.
