ISLAMABAD: Yango, the ride-hailing service that is part of the global tech company Yango Group, has helped one of its partner’s drivers, Farman Ullah, fulfill an important personal goal. After six months of dedicated service, Farman received essential support for his son’s medical expenses, highlighting the company’s commitment to making a meaningful difference in the lives of its partner’s drivers.

The ‘My Dreams’ feature launched in Pakistan by Yango earlier this year allows users to discover their drivers’ personal goals and dreams, creating a stronger bond and providing an opportunity to support their journey.

Even a small tip can have a meaningful impact, assisting drivers in reaching their daily ambitions, whether it’s building a home, financing their kids’ education, or medical treatment for themselves or someone in the family.

Farman Ullah, who quit his job at a pharmaceutical company to run his own business, faced a major challenge when his son was born with severe health complications, resulting in developmental delays. With uncertainty surrounding his son’s recovery, Farman, a top-rated partner driver, turned to Yango’s ‘My Dreams’ initiative, seeking support for his son’s medical needs.

As part of the initiative, Yango supports its top-performing partner drivers. In Farman’s case, they covered all medical expenses—a gesture that his family initially found unbelievable but ultimately came to appreciate deeply.”

Farman Ullah expressed deep appreciation, saying, “I am overwhelmed by Yango’s support. My only wish is for Allah to grant my son health soon, and I am hopeful that Yango will continue to support us. There is no better platform in Pakistan than Yango; it offers consistent rides and a substantial daily earning potential.”

“Farman’s story is a powerful example of resilience and determination,” said Miral Sharif, Yango’s Country Manager in Pakistan. “We’re grateful to have been part of his journey and to support him during this challenging time. His experience reflects the strength and perseverance of our partner drivers.”

The ‘My Dreams’ initiative exemplifies Yango’s dedication to uplifting and empowering the driver community. By encouraging passengers to support their drivers through tipping, Yango ensures that even small contributions can make a tangible impact on their lives. This initiative not only helps drivers achieve their personal goals but also reflects Yango’s broader commitment to fostering their personal and professional growth.
