LAHORE: Pakistani actor and singer Agha Ali has finally opened up about his divorce rumors, confirming that he has parted ways with actress Hina Altaf. This comes after two years of speculation about their divorce not long after their marriage in 2020.

Agha Ali on Ahmed Ali Butt’s podcast on YouTube — the clips of which went viral on social media — responded with hearty laughter when Butt referred to him as a “happily divorced man.”

Speaking with Butt, the actors said that it was a difficult decision and expressed gratitude that their separation would not cause difficulties for any children involved.

Ahmed Ali Butt, continuing the conversation said the marriage was a personal matter to the couple, it was an unfortunate event. “You both handled it very well, which I value and respect a lot. Otherwise, it is publicised,” the host said.

“My father died when I was five years old, so I can understand how the growing of a child without parental support, thankfully nothing like that happened,” he said, requesting people to pray for him and Altaf.

Ali added that despite their separation, both would never stop respecting each other, which he considers vital since many couples struggle with mutual respect after a breakup.”That is the best thing because often when a relationship ends, people don’t respect each other and hatred builds up,” he added.

Agha Ali and Hina Altaf married in May 2020, but rumors of their separation remained in conversation and have been discussed on screen, which Agha had previously denied.

In August this year, morning show host Madeeha Naqvi spoke about it in her show but later clarified that her tongue had slipped.
