DUBAI: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the commentary panel for the 2025 Champions Trophy.
The Champions Trophy will be played in Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates from February 19 to March 9. A fully integrated global feed service will be available, ensuring fans don’t miss a moment of the action.
Some of the top names in cricket broadcasting will lead ICC TV’s coverage, including icons such as Nasser Hussain, Ian Smith and Ian Bishop.
They will be joined by past ICC World Cup winners, including Ravi Shastri, Aaron Finch, Matthew Hayden, Ramiz Raja, Mel Jones, Wasim Akram and Sunil Gavaskar, who will share their insights on what it takes to succeed on the biggest stage.
Some of the most recognisable voices in world cricket, including Harsha Bhogle, Michael Atherton, Mampumello Mbangwa, Kas Naidoo and Simon Doll, are set to provide depth and perspective in the commentary box.
Completing the impressive line-up will be former internationals Dale Steyn, Bazid Khan, Dinesh Karthik, Katie Martin, Shaun Pollock, Athar Ali Khan and Ian Ward, who will provide expert analysis and insight throughout the tournament.
Bishop added, “The Champions Trophy has always offered some of the most thrilling contests in cricket. “And I have no doubt this edition will be no different. With world-class teams and so much at stake, we are in for a treat!
Australian commentator Mel Jones believes that every moment of the Champions Trophy will be filled with excitement for players and fans alike.
