Pakistan beats India in U-19 Asia Cup

Pakistan on Sunday defeated India by eight wickets to win the Under-19 Aisa Cup match in Dubai.

Earlier, Pakistan won the toss and elected to bowl first against arch-rivals India.

Pakistan restricted India to 259/9 in 50 overs.

Pakistan’s Mohammad Zeeshan took four wickets while Amir Hassan and Obaid Shah took two wickets each.

In reply, Azan Awais’s century and fifties from Shahzaib Khan and Saad Baig helped Pakistan chase down 260 runs with eight wickets in hand.

On Saturday, Pakistan had a winning start of the tournament when they beat Nepal by seven wickets.
