ISLAMABAD: Thousands of users of the social media platform Twitter (X) are experiencing service disruptions worldwide, according to reports from news agencies.
The outage was first noticed on Wednesday, with users taking to other platforms to report problems accessing the site or using key features.
According to Down Detector, complaints have been pouring in from multiple countries, indicating a widespread disruption rather than isolated technical glitches.
There were more than 14,000 reports of issues with X as of 11:05 am ET, which tracks outages by collating status reports from a number of sources, according to Reuters.
X has yet to provide users with the cause of it. Users are advised to stay tuned for updates and check alternative platforms while the issue is being resolved.
