RAWALPINDI: Director General Inter Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif said that any violation of Pakistan sovereignty will be crushed by a swift and ruthless response by the Pakistan Armed Forces.
Pakistan will not allow any aggression by the neighbours toward Pakistan, he said while talking to an interview with Sky News.
“Whoever tries to violate our territory, integrity, and sovereignty, our response will be merciless. Both Pakistan and India are nuclear-armed nations, and any serious provocation could lead to catastrophic consequences for the region.
The military spokesperson further condemned India’s long-standing tactic of blaming Pakistan for terrorism, calling it a fabricated narrative designed to instill fear. “The world should never allow India to spread fear by fabricating a narrative of terrorism year after year,” he said.
“The Kashmir issue is an unfinished part of the Partition agenda between Pakistan and India,” he emphasized.
“It is a trilateral dispute involving Pakistan, India, and China, and must be resolved according to the aspirations of the Kashmiri people and UN Security Council resolutions,” he added.
“There can be no peace between Pakistan and India until the Kashmir issue is resolved justly,” he asserted.
General Sharif also expressed alarm over India’s military stance, warning that any effort to start a war front with Pakistan would be dangerous for the whole region. “Countries such as the United States understand the nuclear peril. We are completely aware of India’s objectives, and we are ready,” he said.
