RIYADH: The first ten days of Ramadan have finally come to an end and anticipation is growing for Eid ul-Fitr as Muslims wait all year to celebrate Eid, one of the two major Islamic festivals.

Ahead of Eid 2025, Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development has announced a four-day holiday for the private sector and non-profit organizations in the Kingdom.

Eid ul-Fitr is expected to fall on March 30 or 31, subject to the sighting of the moon. The ministry has announced a four-day holiday for the private and non-profit sectors, starting on Sunday, March 30, and ending on Tuesday, April 2.

Authorities have also revealed the dates for the Eid ul-Adha holidays, which will span six days. The Eid ul-Adha holidays will begin on Thursday, June 5, 2025 (9 Dhu al-Hijjah 1446) and will continue until June 10, 2025.

These announcements provide relief and encouragement to those working in the private and non-profit sectors, allowing them to celebrate Islamic festivals with family and loved ones.
