TEHRAN: Iran launched a major attack on Israel early in the morning on Monday, firing about 100 missiles, killing 5 Israelis and injuring more than 100.

Iran’s missile attacks in Haifa set fire to a power plant, resulting in a power outage in central Israel, as per the reports.

Explosions were heard in Tel Aviv and occupied Jerusalem. Israel’s defense system tried to thwart several attacks in the air.

It should be noted that on Sunday night, Iran also launched missile attacks on several locations in Israel, in which several buildings were hit. Four people were injured in the Iranian missile attack in Haifa.

Iranian media claimed a missile attack on Israel’s Ben Gurion Airport, while the Israeli Air Force also claimed to have shot down several drones coming from Iran.

Earlier, Iran’s retaliatory missile attacks on Friday night caused destruction in several Israeli cities, including Tel Aviv, Haifa, Tamra, and Caesarea, and many buildings were reduced to ruins. 14 people were killed and more than 300 were injured in the attacks.

Earlier, Iran had formally suspended all nuclear talks and stopped sharing information with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), citing recent Israeli airstrikes as the reason for the policy change.

Iranian officials have confirmed that they will no longer cooperate with the IAEA or provide updates on the security of nuclear materials or nuclear facilities, according to sources.

The move follows the cancellation of scheduled nuclear talks between Iran and the United States, which were scheduled to take place in Muscat, Oman, on Monday.

Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister and chief nuclear negotiator, Kazem Gharibabadi, said Iran would stop informing the IAEA about any new developments regarding its nuclear program.

He called the decision a direct response to Israel’s unprovoked attacks on Iranian soil.
