Indian actress Pragya Nagra became the latest victim of a privacy breach after her alleged private video was leaked on social media.

The alleged absence video of Malayalam actress caused a major stir on social media and users raised concerns about privacy violations and cyber harassment along with widespread criticism and trolling.

The leaked clip shows the actor in explicit condition but it remains unclear whether the individual in the video is indeed an Indian star.

The video came following a troubling trend of leaks involving several Pakistani social media personalities. While some have accused these influencers of leaking their own videos for fame, others are calling it a publicity stunt.

Taking to social media, she categorically denied the allegations. “Still in denial, and still hoping that it’s just a bad dream that I will wake up from. Technology was meant to help us and not make our lives miserable,” she wrote.

“Can just pity the evil minds who misuse it to create such AI content and the people who help spread it! Trying to stay strong through all of this, and grateful to all the people who are there for me in these moments. I hope and pray that no other woman has to go through such an ordeal, and that all of you stay safe!” the actress added.

Pragya was last seen in the Telugu film Laggam, which marked her debut in the Telugu film industry. The film starred several actors including Sai Ronak, Rajendra Prasad, Pragya Nagra, Rohini, Vadlamani Srinivas, Raghu Babu, LB Sriram, Saptagiri, Krishnudu, and Raccha Ravi, among others.
