Palestinian President condemns Pahalgam attack, vow to stands with India

GAZA: Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has expressed solidarity with India following the recent attack in Pahalgam that claimed the lives of 26 civilians.

President Abbas wrote a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, calling the attack a “heinous act” and expressing his grief over the tragic loss of innocent lives.

“We have followed with regret the news of this tragic incident that resulted in the loss of lives and injuries to dozens of innocent civilian tourists as a result of criminal firing in the areas of Jammu and Kashmir,” Abbas wrote.

“We strongly condemn and condemn this heinous act and reaffirm our support for India in maintaining its security and stability,” he said, reaffirming Palestine’s support for India’s efforts to maintain peace and security.

President Abbas expressed his heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims and wished a speedy recovery to those injured in the attack.
