WASHINGTON: After the US attack on Israel, the US Secretary of Defense and other officials have now given a briefing in which they have issued a warning to Iran.

Pentagon officials said on Sunday that the US president is a proponent of peace, and Iran will be given a strong response to any attack by the US.

The US Secretary of Defense said in the briefing that our response will be even stronger than that night, this was a mistake-free operation. The world needs to listen to the US President.

US Secretary of Defense Pat Hegseth says that if there is any attack on our people, partners or allies, we will not delay in responding.

Pat Hegseth said that only our forces can improve such a secret operation.

In a briefing on the attack on Iran by the US Central Command, it was said that three Iranian facilities were attacked yesterday. This operation was designed to destroy Iran’s nuclear power. It was a very secret mission.

US Central Command says that only a few people in Washington were aware of this mission, the bombers flew west from the US, the bombers went to the Pacific Ocean to deceive.

They said that 7 B-2 bombers participated in the attack on Iranian facilities, each plane had 2 crew members on board, and there was very little communication between the crews.

US Central Command said during the Pentagon briefing that the planes were aimed eastward, there were several mid-air refuelings during the 18-hour flight, a support plane was also flying with each B-2, and there was a connection between different platforms in this entire operation.

Pentagon officials said in the briefing that before the B-2 bomber attack, a US submarine came into action. The submarine launched more than 12 Tomahawk missiles at 12:30. These missiles were launched at important Iranian infrastructure on the ground. The attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities was named ‘Midnight Hammer’.

US officials said that several steps were taken to deceive Iran in Midnight Hammer, fourth and fifth generation aircraft were flown ahead of the B-2 bombers, these aircraft were flying at high altitude and were flying fast.

According to the Pentagon, the strike package was supported by the US Strategic Command, the attack was supported by the US Transportation Command, Cyber Command, US Space Command, and Space Force Command.

It was further reported that the US European Command also supported the attack, and when the aircraft approached Natanz, the US Protection Package came into action, which included weapons that strike with speed.

They further said that this was to protect the B-2 aircraft as they reached Natanz. There was no retaliatory attack on the American aircraft involved in the attack. 2 B-2 bombers dropped 2 GBU-57 bombs at 2:10 am.

Pentagon officials said the bombs were dropped on the Fordow nuclear plant, after which other bombers dropped bombs on their targets.
