RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Interior has introduced revised fees for seven services including the renewal and issuance of Iqama (residency permit).

The authorities have fixed the updated fees for the renewal and the issuance of a new Iqama at SR51.75 (approx Rs3830).

KSA’s interior ministry also updated the fee for extending the exit and reentry visa amounting to SR103.5. The revised fee for the final exit has been fixed at SR70.

The updated fee for requesting a report on an employee is SR 28.75, and for updating passport information for expatriates is SR69 from now onwards.

The announcement was made through the X account of the interior ministry’s Absher Business platform.

It revealed that these revised fees are for value-added services available at Absher Business platform, and are not part of the annual package that the employer subscribes to.

The Absher platform has recently introduced several new services, including a tool that enables hosts to report absconding individuals who entered Saudi Arabia on guest visas.
