Babar Sahib Din, DG Punjab Authority and Managing Director of LWMC, said, \u201cOur social mobiliser teams are distributing safety and sanitation pamphlets among citizens, stressing responsible celebrations and proper waste disposal.<\/p>\n<p>The special cleanliness operation, which started today (Friday), includes more than 2500 loader rickshaws and other machinery. The Walled City heritage sites required extensive washing work, which LWMC completed before Basant to protect the city&#8217;s historical sites.<\/p>\n<p>The operation requires all officers and sanitation workers, drivers, and support staff to remain at their posts for duty.<\/p>\n<p>Authorities have urged citizens to cooperate with sanitation teams and follow proper waste disposal practices during the festival.
