Commuters arriving at the station still see QR codes and posters promoting the free Wi-Fi, but attempts to connect fail. Many travelers expressed frustration, noting that the outdated signage creates confusion and adds to the inconvenience of waiting for delayed trains.<\/p>\n
Sources confirmed that the private company responsible for installing and managing the service removed its equipment from the station. The Wi-Fi devices, previously installed at the main entrance and platforms two and four, are no longer operational.<\/p>\n
The free Wi-Fi initiative was introduced under the direction of Federal Minister for Railways Hanif Abbasi<\/span><\/span> and rolled out at major railway stations across Pakistan, including Lahore and Karachi.
