During this period, the central government\u2019s domestic debt increased by Rs12.687 trillion, while external debt rose by Rs1.031 trillion.<\/p>\n<p>Official figures indicate that by December 2025, the total federal government debt reached Rs78.529 trillion, compared to Rs64.810 trillion in February 2024.<\/p>\n<p>The documents further reveal that the federal government\u2019s domestic debt stood at Rs42.675 trillion in February 2024, which increased to Rs55.364 trillion by December 2025.
