Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif<\/a> on Saturday received a detailed Islamabad security briefing from Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi. The meeting focused on the current law and order situation in the federal capital and nationwide security concerns.<\/p>\n

According to an official statement, the prime minister directed the interior minister to take all necessary measures to maintain security in Islamabad and address related issues efficiently. During the session, plans were also finalized for Naqvi\u2019s upcoming visit to Sri Lanka, where he will deliver a special message from PM Shehbaz to the Sri Lankan president.<\/p>\n

The visit comes after Sri Lankan President Anura Kumara Dissanayake requested Pakistan to participate in the T20 World Cup clash against India.
