Business class tickets now cost around Rs500,000, while economy and economy plus fares have increased to between Rs180,000 and Rs200,000.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"842\" data-end=\"1042\">The first 10 days of Ramazan usually see a rise in Umrah pilgrims, and this year is no different. Airlines have raised prices due to high demand, affecting both domestic and international travelers.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1044\" data-end=\"1263\">Previously, economy and economy plus tickets were priced at Rs130,000\u2013140,000. Business class tickets ranged from Rs440,000\u2013450,000. The current increase reflects the usual spike in travel costs during the holy month.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1265\" data-end=\"1504\">Muhammad Ayub, a travel agent, explained, \u201cWhenever there is a busy season or religious festival, demand goes up. Airlines respond by increasing fares, and all bookings are quickly filled. Agents simply follow the rates set by airlines.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1506\" data-end=\"1756\">Pilgrims like Amir Imtiaz Bilal say the higher prices are affecting ordinary people. \u201cIt is now a tough decision to even perform this religious duty. A ticket that cost Rs130,000 two months ago is now Rs180,000. The rise is significant,\u201d he shared.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1758\" data-end=\"1962\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/news\/central-ruet-e-hilal-committee-meets-in-peshawar-to-decide-ramadan-moon-sighting-in-pakistan\/\">Central Ruet-e-Hilal<\/a> Committee confirmed the sighting of the Ramazan crescent moon on Wednesday.
