The Punjab luxury aircraft purchase<\/strong> has become a major topic after reports claimed the provincial government bought a Gulfstream G500 worth Rs10 billion. The government has now responded and explained its position on the matter.<\/p>\n

Reports said the aircraft carries registration number N144S and has an estimated cost of around Rs10 billion. The plane has previously travelled to Pakistan but is still registered in the United States. It has not yet received local registration.<\/p>\n

Government explains Air Punjab plan<\/h2>\n

Punjab Information Minister Azma Bukhari<\/a> said the aircraft is part of a broader aviation project. She explained that the government is working on building a fleet for Air Punjab.<\/p>\n
