{"id":101764,"date":"2026-02-21T22:58:47","date_gmt":"2026-02-21T17:58:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=101764"},"modified":"2026-02-21T22:58:47","modified_gmt":"2026-02-21T17:58:47","slug":"4-5-magnitude-earthquake-hits-islamabad-tremors-felt-across-region","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/4-5-magnitude-earthquake-hits-islamabad-tremors-felt-across-region\/","title":{"rendered":"4.5 magnitude earthquake hits Islamabad, tremors felt across region"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD: <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/3-5-magnitude-earthquake-shakes-kalat-no-damage-reported\/\">Earthquake<\/a> tremors have been felt once again in the federal capital Islamabad.<\/p>\n<p>The Seismological Center says that an earthquake of magnitude 4.5 was recorded in Islamabad with a depth of 136 kilometers.<\/p>\n<p>The epicenter of the earthquake was in the Hindu Kush region of Afghanistan.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Seismological Center, the earthquake was felt at 8:59 am.<\/p>\n<p>It should be noted that earthquake tremors were felt in Islamabad and Rawalpindi this morning as well, due to which people came out of their homes in fear.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Seismological Center, the earthquake&#8217;s magnitude was recorded as 4.5, while tremors were also felt in Haripur, Khanpur and Swabi.<\/p>\n<p>It should be remembered that an earthquake of magnitude 5.6 was recorded in different cities of the country yesterday during Iftar.<\/p>\n<p>The Seismological Center had said that the earthquake had a depth of 73 kilometers underground, while its epicenter was in the Hindu Kush region of Afghanistan.<\/p>\n<p>The tremors of the earthquake were felt in many areas including Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Peshawar, Swat, Mardan, Lower Dir, Malakand, Chitral, Khyber, Bara, Jamrud, Landi Kotal, Tirah and Sargodha.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD: Earthquake tremors have been felt once again in the federal capital Islamabad.
