He clarified that action will be taken against motorcycles without M-tags from March 1 and such motorcycles will be transferred to the relevant police stations.<\/p>\n<p>For the convenience of citizens, all M-tag centers will remain open on Sundays as well, DG Excise<\/p>\n<p>According to the DG Excise, motorcycles without M-tags will not be allowed to be driven in Islamabad after March 1. He said that more than 2,000 motorcycles have been issued M-tags so far during the second phase.<\/p>\n<p>For the convenience of citizens, M-tag centers are being kept open even on holidays, while additional staff have also been deployed so that people do not face any kind of problem.<\/p>\n<p>Irfan Memon has appealed to citizens to get the M-tags installed on their motorcycles before the due date and support the government\u2019s efforts to make the city safer.<\/p>\n<p>Officials say that this move will not only improve security but also help in preventing crime.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD: The second phase of the motorcycle M-tag campaign is underway to make the federal capital Islamabad safe.
