These include positions of vice chancellors, registrars, deans, controllers of examinations, and faculty members.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"953\" data-end=\"1087\">Chairman <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Dr Niaz Ahmed Akhtar<\/span><\/span> has directed all universities to complete the recruitment process by August 15, 2026.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1089\" data-end=\"1192\">He warned that unnecessary delays may lead to administrative action against the concerned institutions.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1194\" data-end=\"1426\">In a formal letter sent to rectors and vice chancellors, the commission instructed universities to hold regular selection board meetings. It stressed that merit-based and transparent hiring must be ensured within the given deadline.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1428\" data-end=\"1629\">Officials said prolonged ad-hoc and temporary appointments are affecting academic planning, research work, and student services.
